Partaking in my Sunday morning AutoTrader routine I found a couple of odd ducklings at a nearby Toyota dealer.
Up first is a 2011 9-5 Turbo 6 speed manual with only 3100 miles. Next, and even more interesting is a 2011 9-4x Aero with the 2.7T V6 and what looks like pretty much all the options. A quick search on google says that only 457 of these were ever built. It looks like they were auction cars as they both still have out of state plates on them. I can't imagine many dealers go looking for these cars as the audience is pretty thin these days. Pretty cool to see these two on the same lot though
Another thing I learned: The Subaru Tribeca was supposed to spawn a re-branded Saab 9-6x but was canceled when GM sold it's stake in Fuji Heavy Industries (Subaru). A prototype does exist though:

I NEED that 9-5! I still think it is one of the best looking sedans built and looks like a concept car still!

It's funny - this morning I was looking at the 9-5 Market, as I'm considering a new car in May. I'm worried about insurance (they'll most likely total it if anything happens to it), financing (it'll be harder to get a good rate), and reliability (which, given past Saab Products, is a legitimate concern).
I'd take one of these though for like $2,000....

You are so right on the insurance, I had an 06 9-2x, the hood, front fenders and both bumper covers are next to impossible to find, so a minor accident means totaled.
I went from a 2006 100,000 mile 9-2x to a 15,000 mile 2012 GTI and my insurance went down! How crazy is that?
